Pool Table Sizes – Light Fixture Sizes & Height Considerations
Typical guidelines say your lighting needs to be have the minimum height from the lighting fixture around 62-66 inches from the floor and 32 – 36 inches from the cloth above the table’s slate.
There may need to be some small adjustments made based on the pool table leg height, dependant on what type of floor the table is being set on.
7ft Pool Table: 32 1/2” from cloth (3 light bar and canopy)
8ft Pool Table: 34” from cloth
9ft Pool Table: 35” from cloth
10ft Snooker Table: 35” from cloth
12ft Snooker Table: 36” from cloth
Please note that these measurements are only recommendations and will not apply to some pool tables as table heights, flooring/celling heights and personal preferences apply.
