By engaging PotBlack or placing an order via www.potblack.co.nz you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. The sale or supply of all products and services from PotBlack is subject to these terms and conditions.
While we endeavour to supply accurate information on this site, errors and omissions may occur.
PotBlack reserves the right to make changes to the content on this site at any time and without notice.
To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, PotBlack makes no warranties in relation to the merchantability, fitness for purpose, freedom from computer virus, accuracy or availability of this web site or any other web site.
Ordering goods and services from us
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods or services. An order is placed on our website via adding a product to the shopping cart and proceeding through our checkout process. The checkout process includes giving us delivery and any other relevant details for your order, entering payment information and submitting your order. The final step consists of a confirmation page with full details of your order, which you are able to print as a receipt of your order
We do not supply trade quantities and reserve the right to limit the number of an item customers can purchase in a single transaction.
We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received and accepted your order, which indicates that your order has been accepted and you may not cancel it.
We will take payment from you when we accept your order.
Refusing or cancelling an order
In the unlikely event that the goods or services ordered are no longer available we reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that we believe, solely by our own judgement, to be placed for commercial purposes, e.g. any kind of reseller. We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that we believe, solely by our own judgement, to have been placed fraudulently.
While we endeavour to ensure that the price and description of goods or services is accurate, if there is an error in the process of listing a product or service on our website or a technical error in the processing of your order we reserve the right to refuse or cancel the order.
Our right to cancel orders applies to orders that have been accepted.
PotBlack accepts payment by a number of convenient options; the available options are presented as you process through the ‘check out’ when purchasing online.
- By Credit Card – Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Q Card
- By Bank Transfer; Payment must be received before the order is dispatched
- On Account; Credit terms and conditions apply
When placing a phone order we accept “card not present” (Visa, MasterCard and Q Card)
Only previously arranged accounts will be authorised. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0800 475 476 for an account application form.
Damaged Product If you suspect your product has been damaged during delivery please do not throw away the parcel or cover in which the product came as the delivery company will need to inspect it. Please contact us on 0800 476825 Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm and we will organise the return of the product for inspection and will endeavour to send you a replacement as soon as possible.
If a product is temporarily out of stock it will be placed on backorder and you will be notified, if an item on backorder cannot be sourced within 10 working days we will refund you for that item.
If you wish to cancel an order for any backordered item please contact us immediately to arrange a refund.
In the unlikely event that a purchased product is discontinued or is not available for an extended period we will contact you and discuss your available options.
Delivery lead times do vary however our objective is to process all orders with 1 to 3 working days. If your order is required before a certain date please advise us.
Once an order has been dispatched, you should receive it within the following time frame;
- Hamilton; 1 -2 business days
- North Island- Non Rural; 2 – 3 Business days
- Rest of New Zealand-Non Rural; 3 – 4 business days
- Rural Deliveries; 3 – 6 business days
To ensure successful delivery, please provide a delivery address where someone will be present during business hours to sign for the receipt of your package. You can track your order by clicking on the link in the dispatch email
PotBlack sends all orders using track and trace and ‘SIGNATURE REQUIRED’ methods. If you choose to have an order sent out ‘No Signature Required’ or instructions to leave, then the order will not be covered by insurance and will not be replaced or reimbursed in the unlikely event of lost or damage.
All orders will be sent out to the shipping address that you confirmed at the time of ordering. It is your responsibility to ensure that delivery information is accurate and complete. If you are unsure of the correct address format please consult New Zealand Post
If goods are lost or damaged in transit, please contact us on 0800 476 825 within 7 business days.
We will use this delivery information to make a claim against our courier company. We will offer you the choice of a replacement or a full refund, once we have received confirmation from our courier company that delivery was not successful.
